DESCRIPTION:The Dispute Resolution Center of Yakima & Kittitas Counties is having our Basic Mediation Training in Yakima\, WA. Mediation is a cooperative way to resolve disputes effectively\, confidentially\, and out of court. In this 40-hour training\, you will learn and practice the skills required to become a neutral third-party mediator in any setting. This is an opportunity to develop communication and conflict resolution skills and contribute to non-violent\, non-adversarial dispute resolution in our community. Optional mediator certification is available through the DRC with additional training.
