CWU Wind Ensemble Concert | Wildflowers

The Central Washington University Wind Ensemble under the musical direction of Dr. T. André Feagin opens the 2023-24 academic year with a concert titled “Wildflowers.” Featured on the program are works by former CWU composer-in-residence Paul Creston, Maurice Ravel, Carlos Simon, Percy A. Grainger, and Paul Hindemith. We are also excited to collaborate with soprano, Dr. Gayla Blaisdell (CWU professor of music, voice) in a performance of Eric Whitacre’s Goodnight Moon. The concert is scheduled for Wednesday, November 29, 2023, at 7:00pm in Hertz Concert Hall of the Jerilyn S. McIntyre Music Building. The event is free and open to the public.
