The Chimpanzee Sanctuary Northwest invites the local community to learn about the extraordinary journey of the lives of our closest relatives in the animal kingdom that now live right here in Cle Elum. Hosted at the UKC Senior Center, this enlightening presentation promises to share an insight into the world of chimpanzees and the daily work of their caregivers, scheduled for Tuesday, April 16 from 4-5 pm.
Learn about the fascinating world of these intelligent and social creatures, their behaviors, and more. This event is for individuals of all ages, making it an ideal opportunity for families, students, and seniors alike to gather and learn together.
You will have the unique opportunity to gain insights into the daily lives of these chimpanzees. Through their caregivers' informative talk, you will develop a deeper appreciation for these remarkable animals and the challenges they have faced.
Not only expand your knowledge and understanding of chimpanzees but learn about the invaluable work of the Chimpanzee Sanctuary Northwest. Led by a team of dedicated caregivers, educated locally at Central Washington University (CWU), who are Primate Behavior Specialists, the sanctuary is committed to providing the highest level of care and enrichment for its residents.
