The gallery will house an eclectic collection of primitive art fetched from a variety of countries and cultures, including sculptures, baskets, woven handiwork, pottery, paintings, and sculptures created from a variety of woods, stones and metals. This is a wonderful draw for people strolling the streets looking for interesting things to see. For instance, the gallery will have blowguns and spears on display, and a collection of maps dated from the 1700s. One of those, very old, is a map of all the silver, gold and copper mines in America. The gallery has four rooms and a reception area. One room serves as the main gallery, another houses romantic art. A theme room will be refreshed quarterly, and there is a room dedicated to the work of local artists decorated with tree bark to give it the Pacific Northwest look and feel.
