Knitting Essentials
Interested in picking up knitting? This course offers choices of simple, guided knit projects (scarf, potholder, set of coasters, etc.) to work on during class. Gain a breadth of skills and tips that will be useful for tackling future projects, such as learning to knit and purl, casting on and binding off, doing corrections, and anything in between! Become comfortable pairing yarn with needles, measuring gauge, and reading patterns. Find success in personal knitting endeavors, and discover the benefits that knitting has to offer.
