New York Times columnist Roger Cohen will present a public lecture entitled, “The Middle Eastern War That Destabilized Europe: Syria and Its Consequences.” Copies of Cohen’s latest book, “The Girl From Human Street: Ghosts of Memory in a Jewish Family,” a family memoir, will be available at the event and a book signing will follow his lecture. Cohen has worked for the New York Times since 1990 and became the foreign editor on Sept. 11, 2001. He is the author of several books and has co-written a biography of Gen. H. Norman Schwarzkopf. Cohen was raised in South Africa and England, he’s a naturalized American citizen and lives in New York City.
